Currently, the Saltmarsh Habitat and Avian Research Program is seeking a PhD student in avian evolutionary ecology for Jan 2018. The position will be in Brian Olsen's lab at the University of Maine and the student will work in close collaboration with me, with opportunities for molecular work. You can read the position description here.
Undergraduate Students There are often research opportunities in the lab and sometimes the field for enthusiastic, organized, and hard-working undergraduates! These opportunities may be for credit (INCO 590 or 790), independent study, capstone or honors thesis research. Occasionally paid opportunities exist, especially for work study students. If you are interested in research, I encourage you to check out the UNH Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program website, and to consider a future application for a URA or SURF award.
